NHG Timber - More than just a business
At NHG our business is personal and we like to get to know our clients in a relaxed and informal way, whilst enjoying common interests. As a company we regularly participate in recreational activities covering a whole spectrum of interests, so there really is something for everyone.
Sporting events are arranged which have included the following:
For those who prefer to watch:
Lords – to watch England Cricket tests at the home of cricket.
Selhurst Park – to watch football at the stadium of dreams!
For those who prefer to play:
Golfing venues including – Tandridge, The Berkshire, Swinley Forest, Formby, West Lancs, Royal Liverpool, Royal St Georges, Castle Coombe.
Hockey – House of Commons & House of Lords vs. Timber Trade match. This is an annual event held at Spencer Hockey Club in South London.
Cricket – Hardwood vs. Plywood Plywood Cricket match. A keenly contested inter trade contest which is also staged on an annual basis.
Go-Karting – Events are held at Buckmore Park, where the likes of Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton honed their skills.
Other more relaxed activities that are held include:
- Visiting local historic places of interest such as Hever Castle, Chartwell, Penshurst Place and Knowle Park.
- Walks of 5 to 10 miles in the local vicinity, taking in the countryside around the Kent and Surrey borders.
- Tours of local vineyards.
- Woodland Heritage weekends.
- Visits to landmarks and places of interest in London and the South East
All these activities offer you an opportunity to meet members of our team and learn more about our business in an environment that best suits you. We would therefore encourage all of our valued clients to contact us if interested in participating in any of the above events.
