Brazil has traditionally been the major producer of hardwood products for South America, but as well as supplying from this important source area NHG Timber has successfully and consistently sourced products from Chile, Bolivia and Peru.

Important new Forestry Stewardship Council certified Suppliers have also come on stream with NHG Timber. Carefully selecting Suppliers according to both quality and environmental criteria, we have introduced new species to markets worldwide.

	Cumaru Cumaru is a durable timber which is suitable for flooring and has an attractive grain having a variation in colour from red to dark brown. Durability: Very Durable Density: 980 kg/m³ Workability: Hard and heavy to work Uses: Flooring, Decking, Construction
	Marupa Marupa is a light coloured uniform timber perfectly suited to moulding production. Durability: Non Durable Density: 450 kg/m³ Workability: Nails, screws and glues well. Smooth finish Uses: Mouldings
